Special uplifts
Our cleansing services section offers a special uplifts service to residents of North Lanarkshire. Each householder is entitled to three free uplifts each year (the year runs from 1 April to 31 March).
Pay a bill
Detailed below are a variety of payment options. Payments can include rent, council tax, business rates, home insurance, home care etc.
Bin services
If we have missed your bin on its usual collection day or not pulled it out on time (if you use this service), you can request that we return do this. You can also request to be added to the pull out list.
Roads and lighting services
You can request the following roads and lighting services online: damaged guardrail or bollard, drainage problem, lighting fault, pedestrian crossing not working, traffic lights fault, flooding and roads or footpath repair.
Streets and public areas
You can request the following services online to help keep our streets and public areas clean and tidy: fly post removal, dog fouling bins, dog fouling cleaning, graffiti removal and street cleaning.
Abandoned vehicles and disposal of unwanted vehicles
You can report abandoned vehicles to us. We can also dispose of your own vehicle for you.

Your Councillor
The Councillors Information System (CoInS) holds information on all of our elected members.
Online planning system
We are participating in the national ePlanning Programme. The programme is designed to provide an end-to-end ePlanning service for all users of the planning system across Scotland, moving planning away from a paper process towards electronic ways of working.
Licensing applications
All applications received by the Licensing Board that need to be published under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 are no longer published in the local press. They are now available online.
Building standards web register
You can use the building standards web register to search for information about building warrant applications and notices.
LibrariesNL
LibrariesNL is an online resource which allows you to search North Lanarkshire Council's Libraries and Information Section's catalogue.
Surf4fooD
Our Business Regulation service regularly inspects the food hygiene standard of all businesses in North Lanarkshire that serve, sell, handle or produce food.

Council minutes, agendas and reports
All of North Lanarkshire Council's minutes from 1995 and all agendas, reports and notices from 2001 are currently available for viewing on the minutes, agendas and reports system (MARS).
