Un-named Slip Road Between B8039 Janes Brae and A8011 Glasgow Road, Cumbernauld (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2010
On 26 May 2010 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
In exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on works on Seafar roundabout) on the un-named slip road between B8039 Janes Brae and the south west bound carriageway of A8011 Glasgow Road, Cumbernauld by reason of works being executed on or near that location.
Alternative route: Vehicles travelling north westwards on B8039 Janes Brae wishing to access and travel south westwards on A8011 Glasgow Road should continue north westwards on the other un-named slip road and proceed north eastwards on Central Way to the Town Centre West roundabout, proceed around the roundabout and exit and proceed south eastwards on Central Wayand A8011 Glasgow Road.
The Order will come into operation at 0930 hours on Monday, 7 June 2010 and will remain in operation until 1700 hours on Tuesday, 30 November 2010.
