Dundyvan Street, Wishaw (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2010
On 21 July 2010 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
In exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on ground investigation works) on Dundyvan Street, Wishaw on the southbound carriageway from the extended line of the south western kerb of Belhaven Street to the extended line of the northern kerb of Station Road by reason of works being executed on or near that location.
Alternative routes: Vehicles on the north side of the closure wishing to access the south side of the closure should proceed northwards on Belhaven Road, south westwards on Glasgow Road, south eastwards on Alexander Street and north eastwards on Dundyvan Street to the south side of the closure.
Vehicles on the south side of the closure wishing to access the north side of the closure should proceed vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
The Order will come into operation at 0001 hours on Monday, 9 August 2010 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Friday, 1 October 2010.
