Web portal is one-stop-shop for council jobs
Anyone looking for a job at North Lanarkshire Council can now find and apply for vacancies on a national web portal.
The portal displays details of our vacancies, another 22 Scottish local authorities and other public services such as fire and rescue. It allows you to complete and submit an application form online, and all correspondence relating to the application will be sent by email. Anyone who registers with the site can receive email alerts about new vacancies.
If you don't have a computer at home, free internet access is available in the council's libraries.
Councillor Jean Jones, Convener of the Policy and Resources (Human Resources) Sub-Committee, said: "Myjobscotland offers a one-stop shop for anyone interested in applying for a job. The site includes information about the council and the benefits of working in local government, including the training and development opportunities available. The site is easy to use and gives a streamlined on-line service for job applicants.
