Employment and training initiatives
North Lanarkshire's Working can help you with finding work, training, childcare, skills development and support
If you live in North Lanarkshire and are currently not working then North Lanarkshire's Working can help.
Our employability project offers a range of support and advice to help people move into training or work. Our partners deliver a number of free training courses to help you develop practical skills that will help you in the workplace. More information about the courses can be found on our North Lanarkshire's Working training calendar.
We have partners that can help if you have issues with debt, literacy, childcare or health. Details on all the services available are here. For instance the Childcare Development Fund can help source suitable childcare when you are about to enter employment, training or education, it can even assist with the initial fees.
The North Lanarkshire's Working recruitment portal advertises vacancies that are only available for unemployed residents. The vacancies on the portal are exclusive and cover a vast range of sectors. New positions are added regularly, the next one could be perfect for you. To apply for any of the posts you must register on the North Lanarkshire's Working.
