The heritage centre is located within the town library.
The displays focus on the area's strong 17th century covenanting heritage and the rise and fall of local heavy industries in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Disabled Access and Facilities: Disabled access via ramp to main entrance.
Getting There: Shotts is easily accessed from the M8. Follow local signage to the village and the library/heritage centre is in the centre, just by the leisure centre. Free parking on site.
Other facilities: Local studies research area and lending library in the same building. Local shops in the main street, 5mins walk. Café in leisure centre, to other side of car park.
