Care home services for older people

We offer a range of services for older adults including respite care, short stay reablement care and long term care.

Our services are designed to help you to continue to live at home. Each service has a team of dedicated social care staff, who are supported by community nurses, general practitioners and allied health professionals.

Our social care staff have been trained to provide care in accordance with National Care Standards.

Where this is not possible we will assess your needs and offer advice and support appropriate to your situation.

For more information on getting an assessment of your needs, contact your local social work office.

Independent sector care homes for older people

Part of the process of assessment includes looking at the options that are best for you.

Each care home is different with the ability to provide different supports to meet your needs.

Should you be interested in a particular care home, a history of their inspection reports can be seen on the Scottish Care Inspectorate website.
