Healthy eating in our schools
How we encourage your children
Your child's growth, development and educational needs are important to us. A healthy and nutritious diet helps to contribute to their overall growth and decreases the risk of obesity and other health problems.
We encourage healthy eating in our schools not only at lunch time but in our Breakfast Clubs [1Mb]
We also analyse Primary Menus and Secondary Menus to ensure that the correct balance of essential nutrients is met over the course of one week. However if your child has Special Dietary Requirements then this can also be accommodated.
More information on how we encourage healthy eating can be found in our Diet and Nutrition Policy 2013 – 2014 Revision [1Mb].
