Chapelhall Primary School is a non-denominational co-educational school serving the community of Chapelhall. The present role is 283 from Primary 1-Primary 7.

The school offers many extra curricular activities to our pupils, which include netball, K-Nex, gardening, cycling and recorder. Senior pupils attend rehearsals for sports and music at CaldervaleHigh School.

The staff in the school are very grateful for the support provided by parents. Many offer to help out on a regular basis during classroom activities and others assist during educational visits and at social functions.

There is an active Parent Council and Parent Teacher Association. Current activities which the P.T.A. organise include discos for the pupils, Macadventure Assault Course, Fruit/healthy eating initiatives, Primary 7 graduation, social evenings for adults and an annual Christmas Fayre.

There are also strong links within the local community and we join St. Aloysius staff and pupils for an annual Christmas Carol Concert. Many of the local businesses support fundraising events in the school throughout the year and at other times we raise money for charities through a variety of activities and collections. The school accommodation is made available for community use.

Pupils normally transfer from primary to secondary between the ages of 11.5 and 12.5 years, so that they will have the opportunity to complete at least 4 years of secondary education. Primary 7 pupils from Chapelhall Primary School participate in transitional programmes with Caldervale High School, the school which they normally transfer to.
