St Bernadette's Primary
St Bernadette's Primary serves a catchment area of North Motherwell. Our aim is to create a happy learning environment with a strong commitment to ensure for pupils aged 4 to 12.5 a continuum of learning that prepares them for the world of work and is based on an inclusive ethos of achievement for all.
Our school building dates from 1957 and provides us with large spacious accommodation. We share the campus with Clydeview Special School and follow a policy of Social Inclusion. The school is also used widely in the evening by Community Education and a variety of extra curricular activities are on offer to the pupils at certain stages through their primary career.
Pupils normally transfer from primary to secondary between the ages of 11.5 and 12.5 so that they will have the opportunity to complete at least four years of secondary education. Pupils from St Bernadette's primary normally transfer to Our Lady's High School
Pupil roll statistics from Scottish Government census at September 2012. Rolls are subject to change throughout the session.
