Motherwell Concert Hall and Theatre is a large multi purpose arts and entertainments facility.

The Concert Hall has a capacity of 1600 for pop/rock concerts with a seated capacity of 1008 (flat seating) or 939 (raked seating). It is also used for conferences, award ceremonies and dinner dances.

Motherwell Theatre has a maximum capacity of 406 (or 392 including four wheelchair positions) and is used for professional productions, amateur productions, community based performances and the annual pantomime.

Meeting Rooms - additional areas available for hire alongside hires of the Theatre or Concert Hall or as stand-alone spaces during daytime hours Monday to Friday.

Advance Booking Office

Tickets for productions can be obtained in the following ways:

Buy show tickets online, by telephone and by post

A postage and handling fee of 60p applies if you ask us to post your tickets to you.

You can buy tickets for events at venues across North Lanarkshire including Motherwell Concert Hall, Motherwell Theatre and the Sir John Wilson Town Hall, Airdrie.  The online ticket service will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and you will be charged £1.00 each time you buy tickets using the online ticket service.  Please use the link that appears at the right hand side of your screen.

In person

Tickets can be booked in person at any of your local libraries or at the Advance Booking Office which is now located at the main Concert Hall doors.

During the summer the Advance Booking Office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 4.45pm.

By telephone

Tickets can be booked by telephoning Northline our customer contact centre by using the 'Contact Us' box at the right hand side of the screen.

The following methods of payment are accepted - Cash, Cheque, Maestro, Mastercard, Style, Visa or Delta.

You will be charged £1.00 each time you buy tickets by telephone

When the Advance Booking Office is closed an answering machine service is available.  Please leave full details including your daytime telephone number.

By post

Please enclose payment by either cheque or postal order made payable to North Lanarkshire Council.

Catering

Our Catering Services can cater for children's parties; provide tea, coffee, scones, buffets and sit down meals at events - all at very competitive prices. Please use the contact box at the right hand side of the screen if you wish further details.

Transport

Motherwell Concert Hall and Theatre is accessible by public transport.  A bus stop is located next to the main Civic Centre entrance.  It is advised that timetable directions be sought before travelling.  The nearest train station is Airbles which is around a 10 minute walk from the venue.  For patrons who are travelling to the venue by car there are approximately 100 parking spaces.

Disabled Access

There is disabled access to the venue via the Upstage Bar. There are disabled toilets in the available in the venue and there are 8 disabled parking bays outside the venue.
