Voice of Experience Forum are hosting "Rabbie Does Strictly", a tea dance for the residents of Bellshill, Motherwell, Wishaw and Shotts on Monday 15 January 2024 at Tannochside Miners Welfare 438 Old Edinburgh Rd, Uddingston, G71 6PJ

This is a free, fun-filled afternoon event open to older residents in Bellshill, Motherwell, Wishaw and Shotts with lunch and activities provided.

Whilst the event will be a fun filled afternoon, the event has multiple aims including beating the blues on 'Blue Monday', tackling social isolation and loneliness in older people, increasing the awareness of falls prevention and safety and raising awareness of the impacts of alcohol. 

Limited free community transport is available but must be booked. The pick up points are listed below:

Motherwell Library  35 Hamilton Rd, Motherwell ML1 3BZ  10am

Programme
10.30 am – arrival and stalls
11 am – 12 pm – Quiz Alcohol & Falls Prevention, Super 6 exercises, how to get up, how to help someone else up 
12pm – Lunch & Entertainment (pipe band – pipe in the haggis, address to the haggis) 
1pm – 2.15pm Dance 

2.15pm - Community Transport returns.
