Safer internet challenge winners
School pupils from across North Lanarkshire have been developing creative campaigns to make the internet a safer place

The Child Protection Committee set pupils a challenge to come up with a form of communication to promote kindness and respect to each other online.
The challenge follows on from the Safer Internet day event in February where P7 pupils attended a half day event at the Civic Centre in Motherwell.
Susan Mitchell, Co-ordinator Child Protection, said: "We were very happy with the quality of entries to the challenge. Winners were selected by a panel of judges and each school wins £200."
The winners are:
Primary Winners
- St Bernadettes' Primary School by two P7 pupils (Nathan and Kyle) who produced a short animation
- Wishaw Academy Primary School by P4 Bay 7 who designed a poster
Secondary Winners
- Our Lady's Motherwell by S1 pupil (Charlie) who designed a poster
- Buchanan High School (ASN school) by S6 English class who produced a collection of poems
