The Service will be held at the War Memorial, Blair Road, Coatbridge, on Sunday, 11 November 2018 at 10.45 am.

The parade will leave the car park at the Time Capsule around 10.20 am.


The Service will be held at the Cenotaph, Duchess of Hamilton Park, Motherwell, on Sunday, 11 November 2018 at 3.00pm.

The parade will leave the car park at Motherwell United Services Club around 2.30 pm.


The Service will be at the Cenotaph, Belhaven Park, at 1.00pm.


The Service will be at the Cenotaph at Main Street. The Parade will assemble within the Bellshill Army Cadet Compound, Noble Road at 10.00am to move off at 10.15 am.


By invitation from the Royal British Legion Scotland, the Remembrance Sunday Service is at Cumbernauld Village Cenotaph commencing at 10:45am and, thereafter, there will be a Church Service in the Village Church.


At the invitation of the Royal British Legion Scotland and Kilsyth and District Churches, the Remembrance Sunday Service will be held at the War Memorial, Burngreen Park, Kilsyth commencing at 10:50am. The Parade will muster at Kilsyth Primary School Playground at 10.15am to march off to the Cenotaph at 10:40am for the Service of Remembrance.

A Nation's Tribute

A Nationwide Day of Commemorative Events marking the Centenary of the end of the First World War and paying tribute to the millions killed or wounded in battle.

06.00: Battle's O'er

Pipers across the United Kingdom and countries around the world commence the day's commemorations with the traditional Scottish lament played at the end of battle - Battle's O'er.

Local Piper events will be taking place at Kilsyth, Airdrie, Coatbridge and Motherwell war memorials.
