Various Streets, Hareshaw, Cleland - Proposed Installation of Environmental Improvement Measures

North Lanarkshire Council in terms of Section 37 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, Section 4 of the Roads (Traffic Calming) (Scotland) Regulations 1994, hereby gives notice of its intention to install environmental improvement measures on Greenhill Road, Hareshaw, Cleland to reduce vehicle speeds and improve the traffic and road safety in the area.

The proposal is to install one traffic chicane along the length of Greenhill Road and one pair of speed cushions measuring two metres long by 1.75 metres wide, constructed to a maximum height of 75 millimetres above the adjacent road surface in prefabricated reinforced concrete.

Full details of the proposals, including a plan are available for inspection here or alternatively a hard copy is available for inspection during normal office hours, Monday to Friday inclusive, at the office of the Chief Officer of Legal and Democratic, North Lanarkshire Council, Civic Centre, Windmillhill Street, Motherwell ML1 1AB.

Any person wishing to make representations or raise an objection on either of the proposals must do so in writing to the Chief Officer of Legal and Democratic, North Lanarkshire Council, Civic Centre, Windmillhill Street, Motherwell ML1 1AB or to the email address troconsultation@northlan.gov.uk no later than Wednesday, 15 February 2023 and must contain the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.
