Stand still and quiet as you look down the roadside ditch.  Look towards the edges for Water Voles in summer months.  They are fast and great at hiding, but you might get lucky.

Did you know that Water Vole don't just live along waterways?  Here in North Lanarkshire and the East of Glasgow they are known to use town parks and open grasslands.
