Proposed Speed Limit Order B7001 Old Edinburgh Road, A89 Glasgow Road & A89 Coatbridge Road
North Lanarkshire Council propose to consider the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order, the effect of which will be to implement Speed Restrictions on B7001 Old Edinburgh Road, A89 Glasgow Road and A89 Coatbridge Road as detailed undernoted.
30 MPH Speed Limit
Oakridge Road, Bargeddie from its junction with A89 Coatbridge Road, northwards for a distance of 40 metres or thereby.
Part Time 20 MPH Speed Limit
A89 Coatbridge Road and A89 Glasgow Road from a point 18 metres west of the extended line of the west kerb of Oakridge Road, eastwards to a point 80 metres west of the extended line of the west kerb of Westbarr Drive, a distance of 232 metres or thereby.
Oakridge Road, Bargeddie from its junction with the A89 Coatbridge Road, northwards for a distance of 65 metres or thereby.
In addition to the proposals outlined, the County of Lanark (40 m.p.h Speed Limit) (No. 2) Order, 1973 and the North Lanarkshire Council (A89 Coatbridge Road/A752 Langmuir Road/A752 Gartcosh Road, Bargeddie) 30 MPH Speed Limit Order 2011 will be amended.
