Slow cooker easy macaroni cheese

  • Preparation: 10 minutes
  • Cooking time: 2 hours
  • Serves 4, costs under £5.50 (approx. £1.38 per portion)


  • 1 litre whole milk
  • 250g mature cheddar cheese, grated
  • 150g full fat cream cheese
  • 40g parmesan cheese (optional)
  • ½ tsp English mustard powder (optional)
  • 400g dried macaroni or pasta
  • Salt and ground black pepper

  1. Add all the ingredients to the slow cooker. Season with salt and pepper and stir well.

  2. Cook on low for 2 hours or until pasta is cooked.
