Landlords will now have access to an online system called the Landlord Portal.
The portal can be used by landlords (who are resident within the United Kingdom) and receive direct payments for housing benefit or monies for discretionary housing payments.
It is only available to registered landlords.
This portal will allow landlords to:
- Receive landlord schedules electronically in real-time.
- View relevant payment information including cancellations, overpayment deductions and discretionary housing payments.
- View changes in payments and cancellations immediately, so no need to wait for information to be sent by post.
- View reasons for claims being cancelled.
Access to Landlord Portal
Landlords can register and log in to their account below:
Below are the steps that you should take to register and then log in
- Click on the link
- Select - Register for an account
- Select - Benefits Landlord: I am the Landlord for the payee reference below
- Enter Payee reference number
- Select Organisation
- Enter Organisation Name
- Enter last 4 digits of the bank account that payment is made to.
- Complete registration process
- An email will be issued with username and temporary password
- Click on the link again and use these details to log in and chose new password
- Review tenant information on the portal
