Request a bin pull out

Service update

A member of the Waste Operations team will visit your property before the assisted collection service begins. The attending officer will assess that you meet the eligibility requirements for the service. This visit also allows us to assess where your bin is placed and identify the safest location for our crew to collect and return it on collection days.

An assisted waste collection or pull-out service is where your bin is pulled out, emptied and returned to an agreed collection point within your property by the collection crews.

This service is available upon request for residents who, due to a medical condition, infirmity or disability, are unable to present their wheeled bins for collection.

To be eligible for this collection there has to be no able-bodied person over the age of 16 in your household who can put the bins out for you.

The pull out service collections are reviewed every two years.  Please tell us if your circumstances change within that time and you no longer require the service.
