Recycling in high-rise properties

Residents of high-rise properties can recycle most of their household waste by using the communal recycling point.

Communal recycling points are located close to your building.

How to get the most out of your recycling service

We provide three bins to enable you to recycle as much of your household waste as possible.

Blue-lid bin for paper, card and cardboard

1100 Blue-lid Bin

Green-lid bin for plastics, glass, metals, cartons

1100 Green-lid Bin

Brown bin for your food waste

240 Brown Bin

Please place food waste in a compostable bag before placing into the bin.

Remember to rinse any glass, plastic or metal containers. Always place them in loosely as we cannot accept any type of plastic bag.

If you place your recycling in bags it can not be processed at the recycling centre and it will not be recycled. This results in an additional cost for disposal and also undoes the effort you have made to recycle.
