Report a missed pull out

For those residents who have an assisted bin collection, please make sure our crews can gain access to your wheeled bin:

  • Gates should be unlocked to enable crews access to gardens if required.
  • When possible, please make sure there are no parked cars or cars in driveway that may cause obstruction.
  • When possible, make sure pets are not in the garden during the time of collection.

Do not overload the bin so that the lid will not close - this may prevent it from being emptied as it causes a safety risk for our crews.

Please flatten cardboard boxes before placing them in the blue bin, to create more space and ensure the lid can close.

Do not force or compact waste into the bin as this can lead to waste remaining in the bin after being serviced - we will not return to empty this.

We do not collect any extra bags of rubbish placed at the side of the bin.

If any of your recycling bins are contaminated with the wrong materials, we will not pull out the bin for collection. Our crew will tag the bin to advise on why it has not been collected. You need to remove the wrong materials and the crew will pull your bin out on the next scheduled collection day for that bin.

If you feel your pull out collection has been missed, please complete an online form.
