We aim to build on the Fair Trade Zone Status achieved so far, through our North Lanarkshire Fair Trade Steering Group. We are working with the local communities and local businesses to encourage the uptake in trade of Fair Trade products to their customers, clients and staff. The group has also identified local business Brakes as the ‘flagship employer’ and we are working closely with them to ensure the messages are being communicated to their partners and staff.
