Direct Debit

Direct Debit is an effective and easy way to pay your bills.

Call freephone 0800 163491 and we will set this up for you. You will need your bank details. Alternatively, you can use the link below to setup your direct debit.

When this process is complete, a notice will be issued confirming your Direct Debit has been set up and your monthly instalments.

You can choose to make your payment on the 1st, 7th, 14th, 21st or 28th of the month.

Phone

You can make a payment 24-hours a day on our fully automated telephone payments service - call 01698 403130.

If you are experiencing any difficulty using this service you can also speak to one of our operators during the following hours.

  • Monday - Friday 8am to 6pm.

Please have the following information ready when you call:

  1. Your debit/credit card details
  2. Your council tax reference number
  3. The amount you want to pay

Most credit and debit cards are accepted. We also accept Solo and Visa electron.

Post office

Payments can be made at selected post offices using a plastic swipe card. To order a card, contact your local office.

Paypoint

Payments can be made at various locations throughout North Lanarkshire where you see the sign. Paypoint is normally situated in your local shop.

Please ensure you include your reference number with your remittance. Please allow five days for your cheque to be processed.

Home banking

We can accept payments by home banking but this is not our preferred method. We cannot be held liable for any late or missed payments. If you use this method please ensure payment is made in sufficient time to reach us by the due date of the 1st month.

In person

You can visit any payment office to make your payment by cheque, postal order, cash, or credit/debit card.
