Before you start

The criteria for new grit bins can be found in appendix D of the winter services policy.

Please look at the list of council grit bins that can be refilled. Grit is available from your nearest community salt stock or recycling centres. During bad weather it can take longer than normal to complete your request. In these circumstances we will get to it as soon as we can.
