We’re excited to announce that NL in Bloom is back for 2026 and is open to all council tenants.
If you have a passion for gardening, enjoy improving your local environment, or simply have a garden that deserves to be celebrated, we’d love you to get involved.
Applications can be made by individuals or groups. You can also nominate a neighbour, relative, friend or a group of residents which you consider to have an award-winning garden.
This years categories are:
- Best individual garden
- Best shared or communal garden
- Best use of space
- Best garden transformation
- Sustainable garden
The competition closes on 31 July.
Who can enter?
The competition is open to North Lanarkshire Council tenants only.
You can:
- Enter your own garden, or
- Nominate another NLC tenant or shared space.

- Complete the form and email it to tenantparticipation@northlan.gov.uk or
- Print the form and complete it by hand.
