Planned works

Some repairs are needed immediately but some are part of routine and planned works that take place throughout the year.

Routine works

These are carried out to maintain the condition of property and installations:

  • external painterwork to buildings
  • internal painterwork to communal areas, for example stairwells and entrance halls
  • replacement of macadam paths
  • replacement of timber and metal boundary fences
  • a programme of gas safety, electrical system testing, tower services maintenance, asbestos, water quality and fire safety

Planned works

These include the property or installations:

  • communal areas - paths, steps, fencing (works will be subject to any owners agreement)
  • investment works such as replacement roofs, render, electrical rewiring, windows
  • replacing boilers/central heating systems

If any of these works require access to your property, or scaffolding to be erected, we will write to you with the proposed dates for the work. Some of these works are weather dependant but we will keep you up to date with any additional dates. Following completion, we will inspect the works and may ask you to complete a satisfaction survey, to allow us to monitor and to improve our service.

As always, before you allow anyone into your home, please make sure that you are shown identification. All our employees and authorised contractors always carry identification.
