Use this form to report an issue with overgrown shrubs or hedges.

We only deal with issues if they are within the boundaries of North Lanarkshire Council.

Before you start

We prune shrubs and hedges on council owned land or property between October - March. We don’t prune every shrub bed or hedge each year, but we do cut back any shrubs or hedges that; are causing an obstruction to a footpath, cycle path pavement or road, if it is obscuring a sight line or sign or encroaching property.

Hedges on a private land, for example farmland, we will pass this issue to the relevant service for investigation.
