About the Group
This is a group for awareness raising, sign-posting and information sharing on equality and diversity related topics, aimed at members of the community, community groups and organisations in North Lanarkshire.
This includes information on:
- council initiatives
- community projects
- national and global campaigns
- religious and cultural events and celebrations reflecting the diversity of the North Lanarkshire community
Communities and individuals within North Lanarkshire are invited to join to celebrate diversity, promote equality and raise awareness and understanding between people, communities and the council.
Members are invited to contribute and raise awareness of their own work, events and initiatives promoting equality and diversity which are taking place in North Lanarkshire.
This group will be monitored by admins during office hours, Monday to Friday.
