Cooling towers and evaporative condensers are a special type of heat exchanger equipment used to cool products and machinery in factories and other manufacturing sites.
They work by removing unwanted heat from one place to another using water.
Under Health and Safety law you must tell us in writing if your business has a cooling tower or evaporative condenser unless:
- it contains no water that is exposed to air
- the water supply is not connected
- the electricity supply is not connected
