A £9.627million development has created a total of 58 new energy-efficient and adaptable modern homes for affordable rent. This development comprises of a mix of 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom properties.
The site was formerly St James Primary School and it has been vacant since the school was demolished over a decade ago, after St James amalgamated with St Timothy’s Primary School.
This project achieved various community benefits that the contractor CCG (Scotland) pledged to deliver in the local area.

CCG recruited four new employees and one apprentice during the project.

In addition to the new employees and apprentice, CCG also completed five work experience placements throughout the time they were on-site.
