This £5.4 million development has created a total of 24 new energy efficient and adaptable modern homes for affordable rent.

Following consultation with tenants, residents, and local elected members to identify community needs and aspirations, our contractor CCG pledged to deliver a number of community benefits.

CCG recruited two new employees and one apprentice during this project.
- 1 Labourer
- 1 OSM Operative
- 1 Apprentice Floorlayer
In addition to the new employees and apprentice, CCG also completed five work experience placements throughout the time they were on-site.
Career events
CCG delivered two career events to school pupils across North Lanarkshire:
- In February 2023, CCG organised a Step into Construction event for North Lanarkshire pupils. This event involved a CCG 2nd Year Apprentice Joiner hosting a Q&A with the pupils, answering questions and giving an insight into his job as an apprentice.
- CCG and Hub Southwest attended a career event at Taylor High School in February 2023. During this visit they discussed the many varied career opportunities from apprenticeships to traineeships in the construction industry.
Site visits
CCG faciliated site tours for local students on this site:
- In April 2023, students from Taylor High School got a chance to visit the site for a walk around and the chance to see what a construction site is like for themselves.
- In August 2023, CCG offered 2 site tours to the New College Lanarkshire Architectural students.
Financial support
In November 2023, CCG donated £3,000 to community projects.
Non-financial support
CCG donated £100 worth of High Street Vouchers to Airdrie Action Partnership Christmas Appeal in November 2023.
They also kindly donated £200 worth of vouchers to Lanarkshire Community and Food Partnership.
