Cyber Security Alert – Fusion Assets Ltd
We have received information that a fake website purporting to be Fusion Assets Ltd, one of our ALEOs, is currently operating.
The site uses the name, registered address and company registration number of Fusion Assets Ltd. The site claims to be a financial investment company, with a registration page seeking your name, username, email and password. The site has been reported to the National Cyber Security Centre.
Fusion Assets is a property development and regeneration company tasked with breathing new life into North Lanarkshire.
The company is committed to improving and increasing the volume of commercial property and industrial units in the area by working in partnership with the private sector to attract external funding and investment into North Lanarkshire and ultimately create new jobs and employment opportunities.
Fusion Assets is one of our Arms-Length External Organisations (ALEOs). The company is 100% owned by the council but operates independently with its own board of directors and staff resources.
