Earth Hour 2022

In North Lanarkshire, we have a target of net-ZERO carbon emissions by 2030.

One way that you can support WWF Earth Hour 2022 is to participate by switching off your lights at 8.30 pm for one hour on Saturday 26 March 2022.

There are other ways that you can take part too – take a look at WWF Earth Hour Scotland website for more details.

We would love to see photos of your own Earth Hour commitment so please share them on social media using #EarthHourScotland #NorthLanarkshire

Why is climate change an emergency?

Take a look at the words and pictures from our school children and young people who tell and show us why climate change is a crisis for this and future generations.
