Foster and adoptive carers in North Lanarkshire can find support and training at our facility in Airdrie.
The children's carers centre, located in Mitchell Street, includes a meeting and training room, a creche, a resource room with access to PCs, and kitchen area, as well as offering a drop-in service for carers.
Our fostering and adoption support service - a specialist team of staff from the social work service who work with foster and adoptive carers - is based within the centre.
We offer a comprehensive support and training programme for foster carers and adoptive parents in their important role in caring for our most vulnerable children and young people. This ensures they have the skills, knowledge and practical assistance they need to carry out their challenging roles.
