Supported enterprise is made up of two services:
- Supported Employment
- North Lanarkshire Industries
Supported Employment
This service was established in 1999 for people in the North Lanarkshire area who face barriers and require support to gain employment and sustain employment.
We work with individuals to help them identify their skills and abilities, matching them to the right job and offering on the job support.
NL Industries
We are a fully established force in furnishing production, assembly, refurbishment and maintenance.
Located at 313 Glasgow Road, Wishaw, NL Industries is a leading example of both commercial success and social responsibility.
We make a positive contribution across communities by employing people with barriers who are then fully trained to a high standard in all aspects of soft furnishing and re-upholstery production.
We are a leading example of a supported business that partners commercial success with social values.
