Sadly, some staff have faced verbal or physical abuse from members of the public simply for doing their jobs. Abuse towards council employees can cause lasting harm to individuals and may also affect the quality of services we provide to the whole community.
We have launched a new campaign, “All in a Day’s Work?”, to remind everyone that council staff are part of the North Lanarkshire community. They are local residents, parents, carers, and neighbours, facing the same everyday challenges as the people they serve.
