January – 31 March 2026
We have launched a Micro Fund to help local community and voluntary groups deliver activities, projects, and events in their neighbourhoods.
This flexible funding programme offers small grants up to £1,000 to support small-scale projects that bring people together, encourage community engagement, and support local priorities.
The Micro Fund is open to groups working across any of our 9 Community Board areas. Projects should be low-risk, community-focused, and achievable by 31 March 2026.
Funding is available for projects delivered between January - 31 March 2026.
Examples of what the Micro Fund can support include:
- Local fun days and events
- Small community workshops and consultation sessions
- Outdoor activities for young people and families
- Cultural or heritage events with local involvement
This fund will use a light-touch application process, making it simple for smaller organisations to apply and get funding quickly for activities that matter to local people.
Applications are now open and the deadline date for submission is Sunday 11 January 2026. We encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
