We’re carrying out essential website maintenance from Monday, 17 November, at 15:30 p.m. until Tuesday 18 November, at 10:30 a.m. Some online services may be unavailable during this time.
We've launched two new digital zones in Coatbridge and Chryston.
In our commitment to digital inclusion, we are excited to launch two new Digital Zones as part of a pilot project.
Located within Coatbridge and Chryston Library, these spaces are designed to provide residents, partners, and local organisations with access to cutting-edge technology and resources, fostering digital skills and confidence.
In response to community feedback, each Digital Zone is equipped with modern digital infrastructure, including:
- Free Wi-Fi, printing, and scanning services.
- Devices for online learning and public services.
- Staff support to assist with digital needs.
- Flexible access - drop-in or bookable spaces.
- Adaptive technology such as large monitors, optical mice, noise-cancelling headphones, and voice recognition software.

Residents can drop-in or book a space by phoning or emailing the library direct.
