Housing Asset Management Plan (HAMP)

This plan outlines the council's strategic approach to managing its housing assets over the five-year period 2026-2031 to achieve our ambition to make North Lanarkshire the place to live, learn, work, invest and visit.

Homes for a Thriving Tomorrow  is a key strategy in our journey to ensure our homes continue to meet the needs of our communities, both now and into the future. It is about ensuring our tenants and residents live in homes that are affordable, safe, warm and in places people want to live.

The HAMP will help deliver real improvements to our homes by:

  • Continuing to support the strategic delivery of quality housing to meet North Lanarkshire’s growth ambitions.
  • Maintaining our homes to the highest standards of quality and care ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Acting on climate change  and help achieve affordable warmth for our residents, through improving the energy efficiency of our homes.
  • Investing in improved systems and smarter data use to drive innovation and service excellence.

We will review progress each year on the actions contained in the HAMP and publish the annual review report on this page.
