Organisations can apply for civic recognition to mark important events and achievements.
Civic recognition is awarded to anniversaries of voluntary groups and organisations celebrating 50 years or multiples of 50 years. It may also be awarded to mark special achievements by community organisations.
Civic hospitality can be marked in a number of ways, including a civic lunch for up to a maximum of 12 people or a civic gift. The type of hospitality depends on the event and will be decided by the Provost.
How to apply
If you wish to apply, please send your request in writing by email to provost@northlan.gov.uk or post to the Provost's office giving details of the anniversary or achievement. You should submit your request as early as possible.
