Stephen Llewellyn, Deputy Chief Executive (Interim)

He has direct strategic co-ordination and oversight for the dual functions of Enterprise and Communities and Education and Families. 

His role drives the projects that deliver transformational change in our communities including Town Visions, Housing, Country Parks for the Future and the council's strategic capital delivery programme.

In his role, he co-ordinates and integrates the range of supports, and services around the child within Education and Families, with a focus on attainment and progression for children from all backgrounds, maintaining frontline services in nurseries, schools and community facilities and delivering a curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.

He has a strategic oversight and co-ordination of integrated education, children, families, and justice services, as well as housing, environmental assets, community services and planning and regeneration, that work across organisational boundaries.
