Information and cyber security

Information is a critical asset. We rely on physical and information technology (IT) assets to use, store, manage, process, and share information.

The Information and Cyber Security Policy provides a framework to effectively manage information and cyber security, helping to protect council information from theft, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure. It sets out how we – and anyone who operates on our behalf to deliver or supply services – manage, secure and protect our information. This allows us to continue to deliver services, carry out statutory duties, and support internal business functions.
