We are subject to ongoing inspection work undertaken by a range of scrutiny bodies. This includes the work we do in partnership with other public bodies.
This inspection work provides an independent assessment of North Lanarkshire's performance.

- Progress visit to evaluate the effectiveness of the community learning and development partnerships’ approach to self-evaluation and planning for improvement, and consider progress made against identified priorities in their community learning and development plans.
- Joint inspection of services for children and young people at risk of harm in North Lanarkshire community planning partnership led by the Care Inspectorate in collaboration with Education Scotland, Health Improvement Scotland, and His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary in Scotland - October 2023.
