Special uplifts: large items we collect

These are the bulky items we'll collect as part of a special uplift request:

  • Bannister cut into 4ft lengths
  • Bath- break up if cast iron
  • Bathroom suite
  • Boiler
  • Bricks/rubble bags 10 max lift to shoulder height
  • Cistern
  • Doors 10 max (excludes garage door) Secure glass with tape
  • Fencing sections/posts - Remove nails
  • Fencing Slats - Remove nails, tape or tie into bundles
  • Fencing/Posts - Remove nails, tape or tie into bundles
  • Garden Shed - Dismantle into smaller sections, max. 4ft, Remove nails. No asbestos
  • Gate
  • Gyproc - This must be cut into 4ft lengths
  • Hardboard- This must be cut into 4ft lengths
  • Kitchen units max 14 
  • Pedastal
  • Plywood - This must be cut into 4ft lengths
  • Radiator(s)
  • Shower Screen-glass taped to secure
  • Shower Tray
  • Sink
  • Slabs max 10 bags. Break up into smaller sections lift to shoulder height.
  • Soil max 10 bags Lift to Shoulder height
  • Tiles 10 bags Lift to Shoulder height
  • Toilet
  • Trees/Branches max 10 bundles Bundle and tie - This must be cut into 4ft lengths
  • Wall panels (pvc) max 10- must be cut into 4ft lengths
  • Wash hand basin
  • Water tank (not asbestos), if large must be cut into sections
  • Window Frame max 5 Glass must be secured
  • Window max 5 Glass must be secured
  • Wood-remove nails, tie and tape into bundles
  • Wood Panels max 5 must be cut into 4ft lengths
  • Worktop must be cut into 4ft lengths
