Plans to introduce mid-market rent homes have taken another step forward, with a proposed 28-home pilot at Coats House in Airdrie.

Work is well underway on a new pump track at Airdrie Leisure Centre, with the £186,000 project already starting to take shape.

Major progress by the Glasgow City Region partnership has been reported and the next steps agreed in securing further local funding and powers from the UK and Scottish Governments.

Almost £100,000 of funding is set to support community and voluntary organisations across Cumbernauld and the wider area, with 19 organisations recommended for awards through this year’s Campsies Grant Award Programme.
