Work to upgrades the floodlights at the sports pitches at St Margaret’s High School, are currently underway – replacing them with modern, energy-saving lights.

North Lanarkshire’s Cultural Committee is inviting people to join in the celebrations for Black History Month at Jerviston Community Centre on Friday 24 October, from 11.00am to 2.00pm.

The Watersports Centre at Strathclyde Country Park will close on Sunday 19 October 2025, following the October school holidays. The centre is scheduled to reopen in Spring 2027 after a major redevelopment.

Secondary school pupils from Taylor High School and Bellshill Academy enjoyed first-hand experience of a future career within the construction industry after taking part in our Build Your Futures Programme.
