Rhododendron removal at Dalzell Estate

Rhododendron is an introduced and highly invasive plant species in Scotland. It creates dense thickets that outcompete native species for resources, space and sunlight

Come along and join the Countryside Rangers at Dalzell Estate to remove Rhododendrons and allow our native species to flourish.

We will supply all the tools you need just bring the enthusiasm and hot drinks will be supplied.

Special Requirement Booking is essential as spaces are limited. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and be prepared for the possibilities of moving across uneven ground and using tools on uneven ground to cut back the Rhododendrons.
