North Lanarkshire will sparkle with festive magic as a tale as old as time takes centre stage at Airdrie Town Hall this festive season.
Presented by North Lanarkshire Council and Spillers Pantomimes, Beauty and the Beast will run from 27 November to 31 December 2026.
The cast of the 2026 pantomime met for the very first time earlier this month. From laughs at the photocall to first read-through nerves, the exciting cast day marked an important milestone in the panto timeline.
The classic family pantomime promises all the traditional fun – dazzling costumes, catchy songs, slapstick comedy, and of course, plenty of audience participation.
Provost Kenneth Duffy, said: "Our pantomime is something that families across North Lanarkshire and beyond look forward to over the festive season and each year it just gets better and better. For many young people it's their first experience of live theatre and I'm certain that Beauty and the Beast will prove to be a hit.
"It brings lots of festive cheer to so many children and families and I for one can't wait to come along and join in the fun."
Join Beauty, the Beast and a host of colourful characters in a magical adventure packed with laughter, enchantment, and festive cheer. Whether you’re young or just young at heart, this is a Christmas treat you won’t want to miss.
