North Lanarkshire businesses are being encouraged to take part in a new Community Priorities Survey and share their views on what matters most for local communities over the next decade.
The consultation is helping partners across North Lanarkshire plan for the next 10 years, with views being gathered on issues including improving health and wellbeing, creating safer neighbourhoods, increasing opportunities and tackling poverty.
Brian Caldwell, Chief Executive of Motherwell FC is encouraging businesses to take part. He said: “The survey offers businesses an opportunity to contribute to the conversation about the future of North Lanarkshire and help ensure that local priorities reflect the experiences, ambitions and needs of the communities in which they operate.”
The consultation is open until 1 October 2026 and takes around five minutes to complete.
Councillor Geraldine Woods, Convener of Communities, said: “Our local businesses are an important part of the communities they serve, and their experience and insight can make a real difference to how we plan for the future.
“We want to hear from businesses of all sizes across North Lanarkshire about the issues that matter to them, their employees and the communities they work in.
“By taking a few minutes to complete the Community Priorities Survey, businesses can help us understand local needs and ambitions and contribute to shaping the priorities for the next ten years.
“This is about working together and making sure that the voices of everyone who lives, works and invests in North Lanarkshire are heard. I would encourage businesses to take part and help us build on the strengths of our communities.”
